What's new to watch

Here's what's on tap this week: Season two of Nine Perfect Strangers, New Apple TV+ hit, Murderbot, and the eighth and final season of Netflix's longest-running scripted series, Big Mouth.

And, if these aren't what you're looking for, check out Streamline's top 9 shows out right now, included below!

New Nine Perfect Strangers

Why It Should Be on Your Schedule:Nine Perfect Strangers is a psychological drama series centered around nine individuals who attend a wellness retreat led by the mysterious Masha Dmitrichenko, played by Nicole Kidman. Unlike season one, this season isn't based on the Liane Moriarty novel, allowing for show creators David E. Kelley and John-Henry Butterworth to explore new psychological territory.

Where and When to Watch:Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 premieres on Hulu on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with a two-episode debut. With new episodes released weekly, for a total of eight episodes.

Apple TV+'s Murderbot

Why It Should Be on Your Schedule:Based on Martha Wells’ award-winning The Murderbot Diaries, Murderbot follows a rogue security android—voiced by Alexander Skarsgård—who hacks its own control module to gain autonomy. Instead of turning violent, it becomes obsessed with binge-watching soap operas while reluctantly protecting a team of researchers on an alien planet.

Where and When to Watch:The first two episodes of Murderbot premiered on Apple TV+ on Friday, May 16, 2025, and new episodes will be released weekly every Friday through July 11 (10 episodes total).

Its first two episodes received a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes!

Final Season of Big Mouth

Why It Should Be on Your Schedule:The eighth and final season of Big Mouth marks the end of Netflix's longest-running original scripted series, delivering a heartfelt and hilarious send-off to its beloved characters. The series continues its signature blend of raunchy humor and emotional depth—grappling with issues like driving, drugs, sexual inexperience, enthusiastic consent, and the looming future.

Where and When to Watch:All ten episodes of Big Mouth Season 8 will premiere on Netflix on Friday, May 23, 2025.
